Tendertec is an award-winning AI SME developing the next generation of safety, social and health care technologies for vulnerable people in the post COVID-19 era. Tendertec was founded by Dr. Afroditi Maria Konidari and Rui Zhang founded Tendertec after experiencing first-hand the impact that falls and ineffective care technology have on the health and wallet of senior fallers, their families and the national healthcare systems. Tendertec has developed a remote monitoring platform leveraging Machine Learning and thermal sensing data to detect and monitor emergencies, vitals, daily living activity and behavioural changes among vulnerable people living either in their own homes or in residential care facilities. By producing personalised insights and alerts, Tendertec is enabling circles of informal and formal carers to recognise issues at an early stage and improve the design and integration of care services in a data-driven manner.
SHCN and Tendertec work together in SMILE where Tendertec is involved in deploying and testing CareBox in the selected project pilot sites (WP4) and in the development of ML and NN models (semantic layer) using data collected from CareBox and other monitoring devices installed in the pilot sites.
